Chew this

At RCIA tonight, the question asked and we were told to discuss was: The Lord Jesus is the shepherd... are you willing to be the lamb?

Do the lambs need the shepherd or does the shepherd need his lambs?

A lamb is still a lamb without a shepherd. A lamb without its shepherd does not make it any less a lamb.

A shepherd loses its function to be a shepherd if he doesn't have his lambs. Consequently, he's redundant.

That shepherd might as well be a Regional Director of Market Research... redundant position, if not for all the people working under him. Sometimes, redundant especially because of all the people working under him. (No offence to anyone in that position though... keke)

My answer, by the way, was a resounding 'No'.

Sorry, I still don't buy the J-fella fiction.
